summer school-work
I'm so pathetic & I always procrastinate. School starts on August 17th & I still have lots of summer reading to do. There's a 572-or-so page book I'm going to knock out tomorrow. Also, around the end of July, my teacher sent out a study guide thing for AP History. As soon as I get back to school I'm having an AP Hist. test & I have to read & write main points & all that jazz for several chapters of my 1,000+ World History book in preparation for it. I had to do the same thing last year as daily homework & every chapter takes around an hour. So..theoretically, I can finish the rest of my summer schtuff in 2 days. I'm just going to have to bear it & push myself beyond insanity to finish everything by the time the weekend is over because I really don't want to do anything resembling school-work during the couple of days leading up to it. I hope I retain everything really well as I'm doing the work because I don't want to study later on.
